Google Earth Grid Generator

-please specify the following criteria to generate a grid for screen captures in Google Earth

-very useful for stitching multiple terrains in Google Sketchup with minimal/regular seams

Instructions: Fill out the following 6 fields, hit <Generate>. Then File>Save the result as *.kmz and open in Google Earth

1. Specify coordinates of your grid by the center of its top left cell
Top Left Cell Center Latitude (Y) Top Left Cell Center Longitude (X) *please enter latitude/longitude in decimal number format
2. Specify approximate real-world distance of 1 screen in metres
Screen size Width in metres (X) Screen size Height in metres (Y) *this step is neccesary to adapt to your current GE window resolution (measure your viewport in GE using the distance tool)
3. Specify the desired grid size
